*this role will be accountable for the development and implementation of world-class talent strategies and hr processes that enhance the capabilities of realtruck's mexico operations.
realtruck's mexico operations is growing and includes multi-site manufacturing responsibilities across guadalajara with approximately 1,200 associates which will grow into 1,500 by the end of 2025.
this position will plan, lead, direct and develop the local policies, processes, and staff of the human resource (hr) team in mexico.
this position will lead a team of 4 direct reports and an extended team of 15 hr professionals and will be responsible for progressive hr policies while also ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the global function's vision, mission and global hris system.
*core functions*- partner with the mexico operations & global functional senior leadership to achieve the organization's goals and growth strategy and develop plans on how to maximize the business results.- lead all hr processes related to talent assessment, development, recruiting, and retention.- plan, lead, develop, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, engagement action plans and employee surveys to support the organization's human resource strategic and compliance needs.- oversee the administration of human resources to ensure high-quality talent assessment, compensation, benefits, employee relations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, engagement; occupational health andsafety (dotted line); training and development and workforce management and planning.- conduct research and analysis of organizational trends, including review of reports and metrics from the organization's human resource information system (hris), talent management system, or other hr metrics and create and execute plans to mitigate gaps and issues.- monitor and ensure the organization's compliance with local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance.- develop and implement departmental budget.- facilitate ongoing professional development, coaching, and training of hr staff.- oversee the daily workflow of the hr department.- provide constructive and timely performance evaluations, smart goals, and development.- handle escalated discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.- performs other duties as required.
*qualifications & requirements*education and experience*- bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field required; master's degree preferred.- 10+ years of human resource experience (5+ years of managing others is required).- prior experience leading a multi-site manufacturing operations strong preferred.- prior experience in standing up a maquiladora is preferred.
*required licenses*- hr certifications such as: gphr, phr, sphr, shrm-cp or shrm-scp are preferred but not required
