you will partner with the factory operations in providing direction that ensures product is coordinated, monitored and completes the production cycle according to schedule.key responsibilities- ensure import transactions are executed in compliance with all applicable customs laws and regulations while maximizing duty-savings for the company.- serve as a subject matter expert for complex and high-level corporate import compliance initiatives.- lead projects tied to us customs reconciliation, country of origin verification, usmca reviews.- conduct site risk assessments, audits, and support to complete corrective actions to mitigate risks in maquiladora sites- create necessary procedures to improve communication among stakeholders to maintain vat, aeo, immex, import licenses for maquiladora sites.you must have- minimum of a bachelor's degree in international trade, foreign trade, business, or related field.5 years in import export experience or related discipline and proficient in reading, writing, and speaking in english.- deep knowledge of mexican foreign commerce legislation and maquiladora program.
