*location*:san luis potosi, mexico \u007c* 1- day audit *\u007c* compensation*: $700-$800 one time (1 day audit) \u007c
*key responsibilities*:
perform advanced technical activities including troubleshooting, error proofing, rcca, failure analysis, and 8d problem-solving.
Lead and execute fairs, process, and product improvements.
Assess suppliers' quality management systems (qms) against rigorous standards and requirements.
Conduct virtual and on-site assessments of products and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Coordinate with vendors for onsite assessment logistics and manage the inspection process.
Compile and present final assessment reports, including evidence and findings, to key stakeholders.
Verify inspection equipment, methodologies, and traceability to ensure defect detection and compliance with specifications.
Audit and validate the execution of source inspection plans.
Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including quasar & probar action items, and ensure follow-up as needed.
Support and represent the company at supplier sites, collaborating with vendors to analyze failure modes and improve inspection processes.
Witness and assess factory acceptance testing (fat) and validate equipment compliance before shipment.
*qualifications*:
a minimum of 8 years of industry experience in quality engineering.
A degree in engineering or equivalent industry experience.
Extensive knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Strong background in statistics, variability reduction, manufacturing methods, and data analysis.
Proven ability to perform rcca, failure analysis, 8d problem-solving, and implement process and product improvements.
Experience with supplier quality management system assessments and compliance verification.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
