the business operations group works across engineering, product, supply chain, finance and executive organizations to drive cloud infrastructure planning, strategy and execution.to help us scale, innovate, and execute we are seeking a business analyst to join the cloud procurement team.
*key accountabilities and responsibilities include*:- order hardware and services for the cloud organization.- turn technical explanations into clear, concise justifications for management.- respond quickly to customer requests and keep close track of status.- assist in tracking and analyzing metrics and kpis and presenting to management.- document and continuously improve procurement processes.- partner with global procurement, contracts, legal, planning, data center, networking, and engineering teams.
*experience needed to succeed*:- bachelor's degree preferred.- operations management or finance degree highly desirable.- prefer 5+ years of business operations management experience.- active participation with hardware and software procurement, along with vendor interaction, if preferred.- ability to thrive in a continuously changing ambiguous environment.- a keen attention to detail is highly preferred.- strong written and verbal skills with the ability to analyze, organize, and present data in format appropriate to intended audience.- a working knowledge of hardware functionality is preferred.- ability to effectively review and translate vendor contracts and agreement to ensure that terms are not in conflict with oracle's business needs.- project and relationship management skills strongly desired.
