description this position administers all aspects of the audit function within area of responsibility.
it manages the tactical day-to-day implementation of audit strategy and participates in the development of long-term audit strategy for the organization.
the position consults with business units on process changes or issues.
it ensures audit issues are well defined and fundamental concerns, if present, are identified and remedied.
this position oversees the preparation of audit reports and presentation to senior management and the audit committee.
it manages relationships with external auditors and interacts with client auditors, regulators, and federal examiners.
accountabilities prepares presentations to management at the conclusion of each audit.
writes comprehensive, yet easy to understand, audit reports.
follows up and appraises implementation of corrective action.
manages and grows a talented team of professionals assigned.
ensures timely execution of scheduled audits.
operates within agreed upon budget.

ideal candidate qualifications required bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably possesses prior work experience in a job related to the major field of study minimum ten (10) years of relevant professional experience, including leading and managing complex projects or programs with outcome-focused deliverables, or equivalent combination of education and experience advanced level of english (fluent in speaking, writing and reading) minimum three (3) years of managerial experience preferred cpa, cia or other relevant certifications.
working conditions this position has a regular full time schedule with a normal work week of monday through friday.
there may be a need for occasional work after hours or weekends.
this position may require minimal travel up to 10% of the time.
