- represent uf in a professional way with customers outside of our facilities.
- face-to-face and virtual calls with potential customers.
- communicate customer needs to product leaders, operations and pricing experts.
- develop and deliver value proposals to customers.
- persuade prospects customers to utilize uf as their preferred logistics provider.
- usage of sales force *every day/ week* to keep record of activities, manage active opportunities, won and lost opportunities, sales leads, properly record size of opportunities, dates, and acess and resolve issues with upper management.
- supervise and assure mandatory sales force use and monitor his/her agreed kpis and data quality.
*knowledge and expertise*
- working knowledge and utilization of sales force as our crm tool.
- knowledge of microsoft tools-ability to leverage power point, excel and other ms programs, including word, outlook, lync, etc.
- knowledge of assigned territory jurisdiction customer base, industrial parks and marketplace in general.
- knowledge of the customer's business-knowledge and understanding of the customer product, understand customer service needs and translate them into solutions, speak the customer's language and understand the customer's key service measures, etc.
- industry expertise-logistics industry knowledge, including key terminology; and, general knowledge of primary customer industries.
- uber freight expertise-understand and know the mission, values and goals, organizational structure, company history, how we function internally, administration, best practices, processes, behavior, etc.
- product and solutions expertise - fully understand and clearly communicate who we are, what we do, how we do it, value we generate, competitive advantage, etc
- geographical expertise-geographical understanding of the continental us, mexico and canada.
