about the role
we are looking for an exceptional procurement manager to lead and shape people strategy in one of our client's key regions. In this role, you will be a strategic partner to the leadership team, responsible for fostering a culture of excellence and innovation while ensuring that sourcing & procurement policies align with our core values and business goals.
as the procurement manager, you will oversee all aspects of the procurement department for mexico & latam, including sourcing, savings, and new supplier development. This is a unique opportunity to drive meaningful impact in a dynamic and fast-growing organization.
your responsibilities oversee relationships with existing suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of warehouse supplies and equipment.manage your own procurement budget, optimizing costs while maintaining quality standards.review and renegotiate supplier agreements while securing contracts with approved vendors to improve pricing and service levels.negotiate pricing, order quantities, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure operational efficiency.partner with the operations and quality teams to ensure all supplies meet safety and compliance standards.collaborate with finance to assess budget implications and cost-saving opportunities related to procurement decisions.work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to align supply availability with operational needs.monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions. About you bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, supply chain management, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.at least +5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or vendor management.proficiency in supplier management and procurement processes.experience with kpi-driven goal setting and process optimization.strong proficiency in microsoft office applications.a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, proactive mindset, and passion for people and culture.fluency in both spanish and english is required.experience working in a global organization or managing cross-cultural teams.
