Overview:
this position is responsible to establish and maintain effective employee relations through the uniform and equitable application of organization policies, procedures, and employment law.
responsibilities
1. duties:
o extensive shop floor coverage.
o advising supervisors and managers on methods and approaches to resolve employee work problems.
o policy interpretation and implementation.
o conduct investigations.
o oversight of human resources administrative functions.
o benefits administration.
o oversight of payroll functions.
o recruitment.
o facilitation of employee meetings.
o training and development of exempt and non-exempt staff.
qualifications
requirements:
* bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a human resources-related field, plus a minimum of two years human resources experience in one or more of the following areas, employment, benefits, employee relations, training and development, eeoc, osha or fmla regulations.
* must be able to work overnight shifts.
* excellent oral, verbal and written communication skills.
* strong analytical and decision making skills.
* proficient with microsoft excel, word, powerpoint and windows.
* advance english level required.
