*the role and responsibilities*
the regional end user computing lead is accountable for ensuring the successfully delivery of end user computing services, processes, and solutions to the dupont sites in the americas region (includes both latin america and north america).
the euc lead manages the processes to ensure expedient resolution of end user issues and drives the appropriate level of escalation as needed.
ensures it standards, incident and problem management processes are being adhered to.
engages stakeholders to align service level and business expectations regarding end user, printing, and mobile services.
drives continuous improvement in all aspects of the user experience process by recommending changes in processes/procedures and identifying controls for problem prevention using servicenow metrics and employee feedback.
collaborates with global euc organization to align on objectives and requirements and provide recommendations and improvements to processes, projects, and leveraged services.
meets regularly with global and regional euc teams to share knowledge, highlight opportunities for improvement, and for awareness of upcoming changes.
ensures that it euc standards are being followed in the region and drive compliance with information security policies.
coordinates the procurement and disposal processes of it equipment for the region.
*your key responsibilities*:
- responsible for leading the end user computing strategy for the americas region by organizing and coordinating the selection, procurement, and distribution of it equipment, as well as managing the lifecycle and asset tracking processes
- establish, maintain, and monitor service metrics and improvement processes for the region
- develop partnership with business resources to plan for future euc needs
- execute project management processes to deliver on against objectives for implementing and upgrading technology
- ensure euc it standards and guidelines are adhered to, including it security organization (iso) policies, intellectual property protection and procurement standards
- maintain budget for euc expenditures in the americas (actual vs forecast)
- efficient day-to-day euc operations for the region
- leads the team in execution of service delivery processes and ensures compliance with it policies and standards
- manage costs for the region by performing monthly purchasing reconciliation, ensuring timely receipt of services, and aligning costs with budget
- responsible for exploring opportunities that will result in increased productivity and cost efficiency
- manage vendor services to ensure delivery against service level agreements
- for asset management - oversee and manage the life cycle management of all it assets according to dupont's guidelines and standards
- ensure region's compliance to it security standards, sox compliance and other dupont mandated and external regulatory and legal requirements
*your qualification profile*:
- bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, engineering or related field
- 3+ years' experience working in information technology focused on end user compute management or related competency
- strong organizational, communication and time management skills; project management experience
- effective interpersonal, relationship management and presentation skills
- proven skills and ability to engage with employees at all levels in the organization.
- ability to develop creative strategies to resolve complex issues
- vendor management experience
- knowledge of it operations
- advanced excel experience with pivot tables
- strong communication skills - be able work with diverse roles in multiple regions
- prepare and present on topics relating to the role via powerpoint when needed
