summary:
this individual will work with hershey stakeholders to design, develop and implement learning programs to meet the growing needs of the hershey company following the addie or similar instructional design models. The role requires adherence to established learning standards and corporate visual standards, and will be required to produce learning objects and instructionally sound programs through various technology-based tools.
responsibilities:
* engages with project sponsor/stakeholders to ensure proper development of learning solutions to answer business needs, including conducting necessary research to support development process.
* develops and implements design documentation for learning projects using the best modality for adult learners, including e-learning, blended, instructor-led training, and performance support materials.
* produces and maintains training support materials including workbooks, job aids, quick reference guides, and online help using department tools, templates, and standards.
* designs, develops, and authors appropriate business process and systems training programs including instructor-led/asynchronous and blended e-learning courses.
* creates, publishes, tests, troubleshoots, and maintains e-learning and simulations (including advanced actions/quizzing) for web-based delivery.
* works with vendors to vet the viability of and implementation of external learning programs as it relates to hershey company's standards.
minimum knowledge and skills:
specific knowledge:
* simulations (enablenow/scracl training systems)
* project management framework (implementing agile methodology)
* certified scrum master – necessary
* s/4 experience – preference
* experience in creating instructional designs - nice to have
* minimum 90% english proficiency
* office advanced level (excel, word, powerpoint)
skills:
* strong knowledge of adult learning theory, learning styles, learner needs, and delivery of web-based and multimedia content.
* understanding of agile methodology and experience in creating learning content using agile approaches such as rapid learning content and agile learning design.
* experience as a classroom facilitator.
* ability to use technology to create compelling and communicative graphics & content.
* experience with the following content development tools.
* experienced application of instructional systems design (isd) to include needs assessment and/or performance consulting, objective design and sequencing, and measurement plans.
education:
bachelor's degree in instructional development, graphic design or related fields, or equivalent 3 - 5 years of work experience in a related field. Master’s degree in instructional design/technology or other education-related field preferred.
experience:
3 to 5 years of governance, pmo, and knowledge management experience. Experience in a top tier consulting firm in pmo or knowledge mgmt is a big plus. Itil experience and certificate is preferred. Previous consulting experience in a top it or mgmt consulting firm preferred.
