The association of soybean growers, agribusinesses, commodity carriers, traders, and farm organizations working together to increase preference for us soybeans around the world is looking for an:
responsible for the day-to-day administrative coordination of events to further business goals and strengthen the company and us soy brand in global markets.
*education and experience*:
- at least two years of related experience in planning corporate events nationally and internationally
- experience in successfully creating or modifying processes to implement best practices
- bachelor's degree in event management and production, business, marketing, or related.
*essential functions, duties, and responsibilities*:
- coordinates day-to-day event management and logistics for all events in the region.
these events could occur simultaneously.
- ensures events are fully approved, funded, and properly implemented.
- collaborates with the implementation team and project managers to understand the needs and purpose of each event, ensure budget availability, and create planning schedules.
- research and provide at least 3 possible competitive offers for event venues.
- tracks contract signing, compliance requirements, and contractor payment.
- negotiates with hotels and liaises with event vendors and suppliers before, during, and after events.
- coordinates and attends conference calls related to the event.
- support attendees with event invitations, confirmation, and travel arrangements.
- attend or support events online, acting as the primary point of contact for event attendees and vendors.
- submit event expenses with proper compliance documentation and reconcile corporate credit cards used for even.

- strong verbal and written communication skills in english and spanish
- demonstrated ability to successfully manage events from start to finish and to develop and oversee the activities of multiple subcontractors
- excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, multitask, and follow up on issues promptly
- ability to work effectively and respectfully with other departments, cultures, country offices and external organizations and stakeholders

*salary*:
- mxn 35,000 - 40,000 gross salary per month
