*your profile*
as a freelance social media assistant at papercup, you will be a part of a creative and dynamic team aiming to bring innovative ai-dubbing to businesses looking to localise their content into the spanish-speaking market. You will be our go-to spanish market expert with a vast knowledge of popular trends and cultural nuances of the spanish-speaking region, which will help us optimise our translated content for a spanish-speaking audience better. You will also be responsible for day-to-day publishing and continuous optimising of translated content on various different distribution platforms.
You are self-motivated and results-driven with a unique ability to balance a creative mindset and an analytical mind - capable of providing clear and deep insights into the spanish-speaking market based on our content’s performance and outside research.
You have keen attention to detail and are able to spot inconsistencies or mistakes in metadata or any other aspect of the content on the translated channel.
As a freelance social media assistant at papercup, you will be:
- regularly identifying and recording cultural and media trends to help boost our content selection strategy
- day to day content management - publishing and optimising - on multiple platforms (youtube, facebook, snapchat, tiktok, instagram, etc.)
- continuously reviewing and optimising our channels and pages on a weekly basis to ensure that metadata, thumbnails and any other seo is at the highest standard
- creating shorts and reels by identifying the most relevant parts of a given video
- generating metadata with relevant keywords for new content and continuously optimising metadata of existing content to continue driving viewership
- conducting a/b testing on thumbnails to identify the most effective visuals and text for the spanish-speaking audience
- analysing our translated content’s performance in a chosen market
- build loyal communities around our clients' content and improve audience engagement through monitoring and responding to comments
- communicating with the team in english and optimising our translated content in spanish

- must have_
- strong understanding of social search optimization
- sufficient knowledge of popular trends and latam culture
- professional experience in either content management or social media management across multiple platforms - the experience in both is a bonus
- fluency in spanish and english language
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- impeccable time management. We’re working on tight deadlines
- serious attention to detail

- video editing experience in adobe premier pro or any other editing software
- basic photoshop skills
- fluency in other languages
- based in mexico
