*what you will do*how you will do it*- analyze new business opportunities, develop sales plans and execute planned action steps in order to acquire- participate with business development efforts and retention selling to ensure continued success and profitability of tyco fire products.- provide on site technical training to architects, consulting engineers, ahjs, end users (owners) and key accounts.- develop and support sales training programs for internal and external representatives.- coordinate with sales personnel to ensure they are aware of upcoming projects, opportunities and/or changes in customer specifications.- provide detailed documentation on a timely basis on meetings, site visits and other critical information.- participate in strategic planning processes with director of business development.- conduct research and analysis of business opportunities, consistent with organization's long range and strategic plans.- implement market business plans and initiatives.- explore and builds partner relationships to develop and/or enhance business alliances.- conduct the research and analysis of business opportunities, assessing potential markets and developing projects for use in new marketing initiatives.
evaluates projects through financial feasibility studies, market research, and planning.- identify new opportunities for tfpp by visiting existing and new customers.- be responsive to the customers needs and follow through on all aspects of request, both written and verbal.
*what we look for (required)*- bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering or related field of study.- minimum 2-4 years' in business development / sales experience in fire suppression, fire alarm or fire protection industry.- strong technical aptitude.- excellent written and verbal communication.- able to present in front of large audiences.- strong leadership characteristics.- organization and time management skills.- fluency in english and spanish (verbal and written).- ability to travel up to 60% throughout mexico, central america and the caribbean.
*preferred*- experience working with industry decision-makers, engineers, ahj's
