your role will involve developing and implementing comprehensive labor relations strategies, overseeing collective bargaining negotiations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
by fostering positive employee relations and maintaining strong partnerships with unions, you will contribute to creating a harmonious and productive work environment for our employees.
you will report directly to our latam general counsel and you'll work out of our mexico city location on a hybrid work schedule.
in this role, you will impact the labor relations landscape of our organization and play a key role in driving positive employee relations.
key responsibilities
- guide a team of labor relations professionals to drive positive employee relations.
- develop and implement comprehensive labor relations strategies and policies to promote positive employee relations.
- oversee collective bargaining negotiations and administer collective bargaining agreements.
- ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations to protect the rights and interests of employees.
- manage and resolve complex labor disputes and grievances in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
you must have
- bachelor's degree in law.
- 10+ years of experience in labor relations, with a focus on collective bargaining and employee relations, guiding an organization or team.
- proven track record of successfully guiding labor relations initiatives and negotiations.
- advanced english proficiency (business level)
- excellent communication and people-oriented skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus.
- strong guiding and strategic thinking abilities to drive labor relations strategies and initiatives.
