*job summary*
emobility is seeking a operations manager that will focus on coordinating demand planning, production execution and customer communication between the eaton bussmann business and eaton emobility business.
reporting to emobility's na operations director and partnering with the manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and customer service leads from the juarez bussmann plants (juarez, lagrange & ellisville), this dynamic position will partner with operations leads to review and execute regular demand planning reviews to fulfill customer demands and review capacity and capital resources for current and future requirements.
*responsibilities*:
- weekly reviews on sales and inventory projections.
- daily production planning reviews with plant operations and product managers to prioritize production planning and open actions follow-up as materials shortages, engineering support, capital requirements etc..
- escalations follow up with bussmann operations and customers.
- regular cadence with commodity managers to follow up on supply recovery plans.
- regular cadence with engineering teams to review possible alternate or substitution on electrical components.
- regular cadence with engineering teams to review possible substitutions on resins.
- regular cadence supply follow up meetings with main oems such as cat, john deere and dtna to inform prodution status.
- demand planning review vs plan.
- regular cadence to review internal vendor changes timelines and executions such as cosmo, hbp and jenda)
- daily support to csrs and product managers to inform demand forecast, requirements, capacity and restrictions to meet demand.
- regular cadence with bussmann buyers to get and update on shortages.
capital requirements review.

*qualifications*:*
education level required*
- bachelors in any engineering field.
(electrical strongly preferred)
- master degree (desired) preferable in finance or any administrative field.
*years and area of experience required*
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing.
- 3+ years of experience in program/project management in similar industries
- 3+ years of experiencie in operations, operational excellence, and/or manufacturing engineering
- solid experience on plant/manufacturing leadership.
- financial analysis and pl knowledge is desired
*technical knowledge*
- automotive and quality standards.
- knowledge of six sigma / green belt preferred.
- prolauch practical knowledge or any pm process and tools
*soft skills*
- strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a matrix organization
