your role
as the regional hr lead for latam, your day will be primarily focused on:
* being close to the teams in your region, understanding the nature of their work and challenges.
* leading the design, co-development and implementation of the hr strategy and initiatives in the region, enabling staff growth and well-being in alignment with the global vision, programmes offering and available resources;
* managing the hr team in region, federating the team around clear priorities and responsibilities, healthy ways of working together, and personalized development plan to continuously improve hr capacity;
* overseeing recruitment, employee relations, roles definition, performance management, training and mentoring, policies and processes, compensation and benefits in the region and other hr activities, with the support of the local hr representatives;
* ensuring effective, compliant and respectful employment practices toward the employees;
* bridging global, regional and local hr needs and priorities by working closely with global hr, the local hr reps, the regional leadership team and local staff.
* leading and coordinating hr pillar, initiative or project at global level.
* being a trusted partner for managers, enabling them to achieve strategic and operational objectives while preserving the essence of the organization’s identity, regenerative culture and nurturing the quality of relationships internally;
* maintaining knowledge of trends, best practices, and metrics in human resources, people management, and employment law in the region; applies this knowledge to guide policies, practices, and people.
your profile

with sound knowledge of the labour law and regulations in at least one of the countries of the region, you have demonstrated experience in driving hr functions across geographies and/or successfully leading change across diverse teams which makes you a valuable asset to the team.
you are able to prioritize, collaborate broadly and empower members of your team to ensure both daily operations and long-term projects move strongly forward.
working conditions:
* education: bachelor or master in hr management, business administration or psychology (preferable)
* experience: 5 to 10 years minimum
* employment: full time, open-ended
* language(s): fluent in spanish & portuguese & english
* location: quito (ecuador), ciudad de méxico (méxico), piracicaba (brasil)
