the sourcing spend responsibility is ~$150m.
the professional services commodities will include, but not be limited to: human resources; us, north america and global in scope: medical, pharmacy, eap, global mobility, including audits, collection services, tax services and mortgage providers (relocation), pension, stock plan services, life/accident & death insurance, contingent workforce, benefits consultancy, benefits broker services, outplacement services and employee recognition.
marketing; us, north america and global in scope: trade shows, analytics, technical writing, public relations, promotional merchandise, social media, creative agencies, print and fulfillment, etc.
responsibilities include: establish and build internal relationships with regional scm leadership and corporate stakeholders to clearly understand material and service requirements.
lead the supplier market analysis and ensure supplier qualifications for rfqs.
lead the development of rfqs and analysis for supplier selection.
lead and assist supplier negotiations for the business on requirements, commercial terms and conditions.
build performance-based supplier relationships that lead to optimal pricing, quality improvements, process improvements, and delivery of world-class solutions.
communicate with scm and corporate on supplier value propositions and supplier performance metrics.
develop reporting metrics and alignment with functional areas to ensure cost savings and cost mitigation related to sourcing and supplier management activities.
lead and manage supplier and stakeholder expectations in conjunction with regional and corporate goals.
develop thorough master services contracts in accordance with regulatory and legal department requirements.
lead and conduct supplier performance reviews using supplier scorecards with key stakeholders to develop continuous improvement initiatives and actions.

qualifications: education / experience: bachelor's degree in engineering or business management.
mba in business, supply chain, or related area - preferred.

possess international business cultural awareness.
