*objective*:
the plant manager will have full responsibility for the operational management of the manufacturing facility in tijuana, b.c. This role involves planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all plant activities to ensure that production meets the company's standards for quality, volume, and cost. The plant manager will lead a team focused on continuous improvement, leveraging advanced manufacturing processes and strong leadership skills to drive success.
*key responsibilities*:
- comprehensive plant management: oversee all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics. Ensure that the facility runs efficiently and meets all production goals within the established timelines.
- strategic planning and execution: develop and implement strategies to achieve organizational objectives. Manage budgets, forecast resource needs, and ensure alignment with corporate goals.
- leadership and conflict resolution: lead, motivate, and develop the plant's management team. Foster a positive working environment and ensure effective conflict resolution to maintain a high level of team morale and productivity.
- industrial processes: oversee key manufacturing processes, including plastic injection molding (graphene), rubber molding, and tooling, ensuring that all production activities meet the company's stringent quality standards.
- communication and coordination: act as the primary point of contact between the tijuana plant and corporate leadership in the u.s., ensuring that all operational updates, issues, and improvements are communicated effectively.
- facilities maintenance: ensure that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained to minimize downtime and ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant.
- talent management: select, train, and develop the plant's workforce. Build a performance-based culture that encourages continuous learning and interdepartmental harmony.
- legal and external representation: represent the company in industrial associations and other external forums to enhance the company's reputation and stay informed about trends and regulations that may affect the business.

*educational requirements*:
bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
*experience required*:
over 5 years of experience in manufacturing management, with a strong background in production processes and personnel management.
*required skills*:
- advanced english proficiency: capable of conducting technical conversations, preparing reports, and participating in negotiations.
- technical proficiency: strong command of microsoft office and the ability to quickly learn in-house software systems.
- leadership: demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive results, and maintain high standards across all shifts.
