molex is seeking a sales development manager who will lead a team to sell and promote molex products specific business unit including other key products and capabilities across the entire molex portfolio to our ems, cms and regional customers in the americas. This role will function as the sales lead to drive growth within the targeted americas region supporting the supply chain channel accounts for our numerous customers.

what you will do
•sell and promote molex product solutions through interaction with established segment contacts while developing new strategic prospects.
•meet or exceed account growth targets concerning profit, and project pipeline.
•align and execute account strategies in line with the business units & americas gsm
•develop, implement, and maintain a sales plan for the sales development americas region.
•identify and develop new market segments for long-term profitable growth within the americas across all customer segments including the distribution channel.
•collaborate and align with molex division and product leadership teams to develop and drive profitable growth across molex product lines.
•manage a team of 5 direct-report team members, and align the team’s roles, & responsibilities to the sales plan. The headcount could grow over time due to market share.
•develop, mentor, and coach a team of high-performance account managers. Strengthen and build the team to drive continuous growth in top-line revenue, market share, and profitability.
•create a team culture with a growth mindset with a strong contribution motivation.
•assists customers by supplying information related to samples, delivery dates, part drawings and specifications, quality issues, credit issues, etc.
•manage all supply chain escalations internally and externally.
•provide leadership and strategic direction to the team, think big picture and engage in long-term planning to align team efforts with organizational goals, think outside the box to get results, held accountable for the overall success of the team.
•develop new and innovative ideas that enhance the customer’s experience
•resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers on time
•preparing and presenting reports on sales activities, including leads generated and their status, to managers in the company
•manage relationships with current customers, ensuring satisfaction and identifying upsell opportunities
•responsible for complex rfqs and pricing negotiations
•being resourceful and focused on problem-solving.
who you are (basic qualifications)
•experience in relevant sales/account management experience within the industry
•experience managing a sales/account manager team
•sales management experience at a systems level supplier.
•experience selling products or services with a focus on interconnect and/or networking solutions
•experience leading groups of inside sales, account managers, or customer service teams.
•knowledge of supply chain optimization
•high stake negotiation skills
•experience in optimizing processes and working with efficiency.
what will put you ahead
•bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, electrical engineering, international commerce, or similar technical discipline
•experience in electronic industry and other related markets.
