Negotiation and supplier relationship experience required.
- able to have a difficult conversation and be comfortable debating with peers across teams to drive change.

- has a strong understanding on fundamentals of global trade, how to make decisions by looking at the tco (total cost of ownership) and cost to serve the business vs decisions based purely on low cost.
- must be able to have a holistic view that spans (but not limited to): operations, finance, health and safety, transportation, procurement (execution and maintenance of contracts + relationships with suppliers), hr and most importantly people and stakeholder management across all levels of an organization.
- p&l and people management would be an added advantage.
