Job purpose:
increase sales and brand awareness for both levi's and denizen brands by developing and executing effective marketing strategies relevant to the local market & channels.
collaborate onsales growth: driving sales growth through wholesale channels by implementing effective marketing strategies, developing strong relationships with key accounts, and collaborating with the sales team to identify and capitalize on opportunities.
contribute market share expansion: support overall expansion plans based on overall commercial plan of wholesale accounts, identifying and targeting new markets, and staying ahead of competitors through ongoing market analysis.
brand awareness: building brand awareness through targeted marketing campaigns, social media, and other promotional activities designed to increase visibility and recognition among wholesale customers.
effective budget management: developing and managing budgets for wholesale marketing initiatives, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to maximize roi and achieve business objectives.
strong relationships with key stakeholders: building strong relationships with key stakeholders such as the sales team, merchandising, brand marketing and finance team to ensure effective collaboration and alignment of goals and objectives.
key responsibilities
- _ support_ marketing director in the planning and execution of customer-specific marketing programs that drive awareness, trial and sales of levi's and denizen brands._
- scope to include and not limited _to: digital advertising, social media_ _advertising, promotions and experiential executions, working in partnership with retailers, sales teams_ _and advertising agency._
- _ support marketing director in the planning and development of in-store marketing and pos strategies and executions to create cohesive, engaging levi's and denizen brand on-floor experiences.
manage relationships with internal (cross functional) and partner-retailer teams._
- collaborate with brand marketing and e-commerce marketing functions to d_evelop digital product and brand assets for online retailers, including descriptive product copy, product photography, videos, product guides and other enhanced digital content that drives interest and conversion for both the_ levi's _and the denizen brands._
- _ execute in-store merchandising projects for both brands, developing directives and acting as the primary liaison between sales, marketing and the partners (retailers)._
- _ understand the broader levi's and denizen and signature financial plans and manage the marketing dilution budget and purchase process, tracking program cost by retailer and brand segments while facilitating communication between finance, marketing and retailers as needed._
- _ develop keen understanding of retail and competitive landscape, continually surveying in-store, online and social trends in order to recommend strategies and drive innovation._
- _ manages retailer program roi/ros measurement and hindsight in partnership with internal teams and retail partners._
- _ ensure success by sustaining collaborative relationships with key internal and external retailer stakeholders, including marketing, brand experience, store environment, ecommerce, sales, merchandising and finance teams._
- _ be a creative marketing thinker and have the ability to drive retail and agency partners to innovate how the levi's and denizen brands communicate with our consumers across retailer platforms._
- job requirements:_
- bachelor's degree (7+ years combined college education and work experience may be substituted for a degree).
- minimum of 5 years marketing experience including brand marketing, channel marketing, digital marketing, social media, brand environment and other related areas.
- mba is a plus.
- mass and/or apparel and accesories channel marketing experience preferred.
- digital marketing experience preferred.
- demonstrated ability to independently lead moderate to complex projects.
- excellent communication and collaboration skills including influence and persuasion.
- strategic thinker with strong planning and organizational skills.
- excellent written and verbal communication skills - includes influencing, negotiation skills and content development.
