your mission, roles and responsibilities
- ensure compliance with the requirements of the implemented systems iatf 16949, iso 14001 and c-tpat focused on maintenance.
- participate in the purchase of new equipment to ensure manufacturing, maintenance, safety, hygiene and environmental requirements are met.
- contribute, in coordination with the plant engineering department, to define the technical specifications of the changes that must occur in the equipment and facilities.
- coordinate the repair and prevention requirements of all manufacturing equipment focused on its scope area.
- identify and contribute to developing standards for the repair, startup and operation of equipment.
- participate in production system efficiency and quality system efficiency actions to support continuous improvement: propose and implement actions for continuous improvement of productivity, efficiency and quality in all facilities.
- support in making backups to carry out the movement of equipment (tpm l4)
- define and supervise the quality objectives, costs and deadlines given to external companies when they intervene: subcontracting, routine and special actions, energy and security systems, etc.
- audit the purchase and inventory of spare parts and consumables to eliminate downtime.
- recommend safety policies and ensure that safety controls are tested and reliable according to iso machinery safety standards.
- keep backup documentation updated (tpm l4)
- manage a team of maintenance technicians.
- contribute to energy saving actions and reduction of co2 emissions.
