the position
as a msl manager, you will:
lead, coach, and develop a high-performing msl team to drive key objectives in line with the company’s medical priorities, focusing on scientific engagement, insights generation, data generation support, and internal collaboration.
co-create and execute country medical plans in collaboration with the ta medical head, medical manager, medical director, or msl head, ensuring alignment with medical priorities.
set, track, and ensure the achievement of performance goals and kpis for both individual msls and the entire team.
ensure msls engage in fair, balanced, and scientifically rigorous exchanges with key stakeholders in the healthcare community.
leads internal collaboration centred around insights generation activities and ensure data, facts and observations are gathered, reviewed and analysed to be identified as insights and incorporated in strategic decision making.
qualifications
we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
minimum of 4- 5 years’ experience in a related industry role, preferably in a medical science liaison capacity o medical affairs. Experience in cardiometabolic is desirable.
expertise in local regulations and codes of practice for the pharmaceutical industry, specifically as they apply to non-promotional activities.
strong time management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team with varying skill levels.
proven experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating to meet business goals and objectives
