You will execute the design, analysis, and evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to industry and business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.
responsibilitiesapply existing technologies, approaches, and methodologies in new combinations to design new products, systems, or processes for the oil & gas industry, e.g., wellheads and flow control equipment.present project plans, technical roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior business leaders.communicate solutions across your function and with cross-functional partner organizations.qualificationsto be successful in this role, you will need:
a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university or college.fluency in english and spanish.at least 5 years of experience in mechanical design and development, preferably of wellheads and christmas tree equipment for the oil & gas industry.demonstrated hands-on experience using api 6a standard.a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including statics, strength of materials, and materials science.an understanding of gd&t principles, asme y14.5-1994/2009, and tolerance stack-up analysis.proficiency in cad software (pro-e/creo, autocad), simulation tools (ansys, others), and math calculations software (mathcad, others).familiarity with the use of plm software, preferably teamcenter.flexible working patternswe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best varies.
