We’re seeking a talented, organized, and proactive individual to help us edit, schedule, and coordinate content for our growing youtube channel and other social media platforms. This is a full-time position (not freelance or agency) with daily collaboration and meetings alongside the ceo and creative team.

responsibilities
1. weekly video editing & scheduling:
o access raw footage via frame.io to edit into 8-12 minute long-form youtube videos.
o integrate b-roll and motion graphics where appropriate.
o add typography and graphics to enhance visual appeal.
o schedule videos on youtube with accurate descriptions, tags, chapters, and other metadata.
2. thumbnail creation & a/b testing:
o design compelling thumbnails for each video.
o perform daily a/b thumbnail tests using tubebuddy to optimize click-through rates.
3. short-form video creation:
o create 30+ shorts/reels/tiktoks per month from our long-form and podcast content.
o use opus.clip ai to quickly repurpose footage into engaging short-form videos.
4. social media scheduling & coordination:
o use zoho social to schedule all videos, shorts, and relevant posts across other social media channels on a daily basis.
5. monthly podcast production:
o edit and release one 45-75 minute podcast episode per month.
o schedule its release on spotify podcasts (audio-only version).
6. weekly newsletter & monthly email campaigns:
o coordinate weekly newsletter emails and collaborate with fernando herrera on content and scheduling.
o manage and schedule 13 email campaigns per month (3 per week) to tire base customers using our crm.
7. analytics & reporting:
o prepare weekly and monthly reports analyzing:
+ best performing videos
+ best performing thumbnails
+ insights and recommendations for future content
8. provide strategic suggestions to fernando herrera on potential topics to produce.
9. content outlines & course editing:
o develop outlines for fernando herrera to record new weekly videos.
o edit additional videos for our courses, ensuring they meet brand and quality standards.
10. collaborative responsibilities:
o attend daily meetings with the ceo to discuss accomplishments, current tasks, and upcoming goals.
o occasionally assist with photography and film shoots (minimal travel may be required; expenses paid).
requirements
* work experience: demonstrable history of editing both long-form and short-form content (podcasts, tiktoks, reels, youtube shorts).
* technical proficiency:
o video editing programs (final cut pro, adobe premiere pro, or similar).
o photo editing tools (adobe photoshop, capture one).
o familiarity with 2d animation/motion graphics to create engaging content.
* equipment: must have your own computer capable of handling 4k footage and rendering quickly. We do not provide work equipment.
* software & tools:
o experience with scheduling and a/b testing tools (e.g., tubebuddy, zoho social).
o knowledge of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
* collaboration & communication:
o strong communication skills in english (spanish preferred).
o availability for daily team meetings and feedback sessions.
o ability to travel to the us (visitor visa) if needed.
* attention to detail & time management:
o capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
o meticulous in reviewing content for accuracy and brand consistency.
