this position reports to
sales manager
your role and responsibilities
in this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and manage the account strategy focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. You will coordinate sales activities, monitor current projects, and manage the resolution of customer problems. Additionally, you will provide input on market price trends and developments. The work model for this role is: #l-hybrid. This role contributes to the electrification team and stakeholders. Your main responsibilities include:
* leading the development and implementation of the account plan and growth actions for statements of work.
* understanding key business drivers, including risks like sustainability, digitalization, and cybersecurity, and translating them into impacts and opportunities for abb.
* participating in developing sales strategies for the account, including current business and long-term plans.
* defining sales targets, monitoring competitors’ activity, and ensuring appropriate response strategies are in place.
qualifications for the role
* bachelor's degree in electrification or electromechanical engineering.
* experience in sales of medium and low voltage power equipment for electrical substations and digitalization of substations.
* ability to identify and develop opportunities, and to develop strategies for end-users over short, medium, and long term.
* experience with strategic accounts in the metals, mining, and automotive sectors.
