purpose
perform market research, and prepare presentations and reports in order to provide customer and market insights to the marketing team and to support gaining and maintaining a leading position of givaudan in the market, according to overall our goals and global/regional marketing strategy.
this is a hybrid role, our office is in san angel, méxico.
main responsibilities
1. market research & trend analysis
o desk research and analysis of market data, statistics, and consumer trends at the global, regional, and local levels to provide information to customers.
o provide support to customer understanding and consumer insights.
o analyse and measure market and category potential.
2. presentations & promotions
o develop presentations and concepts related to new trends, consumer understanding, food and beverage market to help our customers create products.
o roll-out of global technologies through regional/local projects.
3. customer visits
o planning, preparation, and coordination of content- and product-related activities for customer visits.
4. analysis & reporting
o analyze new product introductions and identification of successful products.
o analyse information, statistics, and consumer trends on a level and compile them into presentation format for direct use by marketing or sales.
5. special events
o organization of special events (e.g., taste solutions symposium).
o lead and coordinate innovation days for customers to help them develop new projects.
6. database management
o track actual against global cu, global marketing, and marcomm budget.
o sap process orders and invoices for the whole team of global marketing, cu & sensory based in zurich + regional marcomms.
o mygivaudan open text power user – multiple reporting modules for consumer & sensory insights projects and keeping track.
7. communication
o internal: share information on trends presentations and best practices among the sub-region to create new opportunities for different customers.
o external: create a contact with our customer's marketing area to be aligned with their strategy from the beginning of the projects.

academic background
* marketing graduate or commercial apprenticeship with an emphasis on marketing.
professional experience
* +4 years of relevant experience (marketing or commercial).
technical skills
* proficient in english.
* advanced level in presentation software.
* advanced marketing analysis using market databases such as mintel, euromonitor, and datamonitor.
* sap knowledge.
