wood mackenzie are looking for an enthusiastic, talented, and ambitious account manager to join our sales team in mexico city to continue to further grow and embed our solutions into existing and new customers, take responsibility for developing our strategic client relationships and delivering commercial success. We are looking to diversify our talent pool and bring in best practice from other industries and sectors to enable us to reach our ambitious growth targets.
The account management team is a key driver for sales execution and performance across existing and new accounts. You will be instrumental for the achievement of sales targets as well as the effective use of resources to achieve targets. Your client portfolio will include a diverse set of customers in key wood mackenzie markets.
We are looking for a self-starter, who will build on our existing relationships, identifying opportunities to solve more client problems with wood mackenzie solutions. You will thrive in the sales process - from prospecting to closing deals - to the challenges of winning new and cross-sell business and establishing new relationships within your territory.
*key objectives included*
- successfully identify key stakeholders within your customers who present the best opportunity for growth. This will be through the sale of wood mackenzie’s research and consulting products
- develop a deep understanding of the value that our solutions provide to customers, the sectors they operate in and specific customers buying cycles.
- develop prospect networks and drive relationships with key contacts to develop commercial relationships that lead to a deep understanding of clients’ existing needs and future requirements
- demonstrate knowledge of the current market and industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors in this sector
- pro-actively manage and maximise the commercial growth of the portfolio to aligned with regional priorities
- deliver new business sales from wood mackenzie’s range of research and consulting offerings to achieve and exceed annual sales targets
- clear understanding on business pipeline management and accurate forecasting
- proven commercial acumen experience
- represents wood mackenzie in the market and look to expand brand recognition and be an advocate for our portfolio of solutions.

- territory growth - driving more companies to choose woodmac for their natural resources intelligence
- smart sales acumen demonstrated via pipeline management, sales qualification and crm accuracy
*qualifications*:

- have at least five years of experience in a sales account manager or territory manager role
- have a proven commercial track record in increasing revenue from existing and new clients, ideally in a subscription-based business model.
- be a self-motivated and energetic individual, a value-based negotiator and results-oriented

- be passionate about growing the business
