we are looking for a “continuous improvement leader for our manufacturing plant in méxico:
the ideal candidate is a leader who can successfully develop and enable a continuous improvement culture through collaboration with diverse teams. You will solve client problems, lead productivity efforts and develop new business opportunities with manufacturing, quality and support functions
profile summary:
manage and maintain a culture of continuous improvement for the site through:
1) portfolio management and execution of improvement initiatives,
2) collaboration and influence with area leaders to enable results established in our business plan,
3) maintain a problem-solving culture at the xochimilco site through coaching and development of the 8-step method for problem solving.
responsibilities
* deliver and develop site-wide problem-solving competencies by scientific method (8 steps of problem solving) and problem-solving coaching to individual leaders and contributors to build a learning organization.
* build and facilitate the agenda of the site strategy (tier 5) and follow-up of the initiatives throughout the year.
* responsible for the administration of the improving innovating program from the design of the process, connection and management with each area of the process.
* improve plant capacity and productivity of key processes through improvement projects, educating people on continuous improvement / lean tools
* implementation and effectiveness of strategic and tactical tier processes.
* coordinate and facilitate the construction of the site strategy so that it meets the objectives of manufacturing and commercial, as well as its leadership of the scale-down processes and alignment of the strategic objectives of the site.
* comprehensively manage the identification of opportunities/ideas, projects and improvement initiatives across the site, to meet the objectives of the who division and achieve a world-class supply chain (improving and innovating program).
qualifications:
* bachelor’s or master’s degree: engineering with experience of at least 5 years in continuous improvement roles.
* expert in continuous improvement methodologies (lean manufacturing / six sigma / hoshin kanri / kata).
* experience in portfolio management and/or project management.
* knowledge of the cost structure of a manufacturing plant.
* administration of problem escalation systems and direction / visual management.
* experience in the pharmaceutical field in packaging and laboratory processes (desirable).
* intermediate knowledge in powerbi, automate, and power-apps (desirable)business conversational english
* effective communication, experience in leading work teams with a focus on process improvement, self-directed, focus on results, high ethical level, focus on quality and compliance.
