The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail. Candidate profile education and experience bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field. 3+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, hotel management, business analysis, or related professional areas. Experience in a big 4 accounting firm (or similar) is preferred. High proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing) in english and spanish is required. Portuguese is a plus. Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles (gaap). Expected contributions monitor hotel progress on balance sheet reconciliation in quickbase (reconciliation tool). Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (sops) and gaap. Participate in calls with external auditors to review and discuss hotel balance sheets. Follow up on audit findings to ensure they have been remediated. Administer quickbase application (monthly data archive, user creation, etc.) Perform hotel auto allocation setup in collaboration with hotel directors of finance and conduct monthly reviews to ensure accuracy. Provide training and ongoing support to properties. Update monthly reports and dashboards. Skills and knowledge understanding of hotel operations and finance processes, including p&ls, reconciliations, balance sheets, and controls. Strong ability to learn and explain application usage and provide user training. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Self-starter with the ability to identify needs and take independent action. Customer-service oriented with effective listening skills. Capability to work as part of a multicultural remote team and collaborate with regional and property stakeholders. High proficiency in microsoft office products and the ability to manipulate large amounts of data; experience with business analytics (bi) is preferred. Approximately 10% business travel required.
