bat has an exciting opportunity for an area sales manager in ciudad victoria, méxico.
responsible for designing, planning, and developing the most efficient and effective trade coverage to support the deployment of the portfolio strategy in his/her territory. Recognizes opportunity areas to suggest action plans within the regional operational plan. Additionally, involved in negotiations with strategic customers and ensures customer maintenance and satisfaction.
your key responsibilities will include:
* implementing marketing plans in the pos, using assigned resources effectively, and developing and coaching sales and tm reps.
* recognizing opportunity areas within the territory and suggesting action plans, negotiating with strategic customers, and ensuring customer maintenance and satisfaction.
* communicating trade marketing initiatives to area employees, aligning objectives and scopes of initiatives into actionable tasks for the trade force.
* analyzing information and market trends to find opportunity areas in trade marketing and propose action plans.
* focusing efforts on people development by identifying areas of improvement and coordinating training and on-the-job activities.
* guaranteeing correct and on-time implementation of merchandising and promotion material at pos in accordance with the cycle plan and communication coverage plan.
what are we looking for?
* desirably college graduated or bachelor's degree.
* willingness to move nationwide.
* desirably english skills.
* 5 years of experience in tm&d in tobacco or similar fmcg categories.
* minimum of two years in a similar role.
* desired one year experience in personnel management and control.
* trade strategy development and implementation.
