manages the compliance program for all the business and verticals that constitute the digital banking cluster ensuring that key risks to the program are identified, assessed, and mitigated.
Annually, designs and implements a compliance plan for the digital banking cluster, including a responsibility assignment matrix (raci matrix) and a communication plan to inform all stakeholders of their roles and expected actions to meet regulatory and compliance objectives. Follows on the plan and ensures actions are executed on time. Manages and escalates deviations to the plan.
Supervises the creation of the policy control matrix for all the businesses and verticals conforming digital banking.
Oversees the creation of the regulatory control matrix for all the businesses and verticals conforming digital banking in alignment with regulatory inventory mapping (rim) standards and procedures.
Manages the regulatory change management process for digital banking, ensuring upcoming changes to regulations, rules, and laws are assessed and that projects to close gaps are aligned to maintain regulatory compliance. Follows up and reports the progress on these projects, promptly escalating deviations to plan.
Leads projects to improve the effectiveness of the compliance model. Promotes continuous improvement in all aspects of the compliance management cycle.
Ensures that documentation related to compliance processes and controls executed by the policies and regulations coordination team are kept evergreen throughout the year.
Trains, coaches and mentors policy and regulatory coordinators.
