.descriptionthe adas (advanced driver assistance systems) algorithm test lead will be the responsible of the testing activities for one or more projects. The person will be leading the activities required by planning and coordinating the activities of some test engineers, being the contact with stakeholders, following up on progress, removing blockers, analyzing and mitigating risks, creating final reports and having reviews with other stakeholders to finalize each testing phase, with the purpose of effectively validate the algorithms developed for adas systems. The person will also support if needed in testing activities, creating test scripts to automate tests or processes or executing tests.in adas business unit, we are developing cutting edge technologies to drive the future of mobility in the world, you will be part of a team that validates these new technologies. With your collaboration you will help continental to save millions of lives around the world.main responsibilities:- responsible for leading the testing activities for one or more projects.- define and update the test plan and scope for each sw development phase.- coordinate the activities of some test engineers at a project level. Note: these engineers will not report to you as a supervisor (this is not a people manager role).- have constant communication with stakeholders, create reports and present test results reviews to stakeholders in a frequent basis.- track progress, inform risks and mitigate them, remove blockers, so we can meet deadlines in time and with quality.- assist in performing requirements analysis in order to guide test engineers to generate test cases which thoroughly validate them.- support in the execution of manual/automated tests when needed, and perform results analysis of results found when possible too.- report and follow up to defects found.- support software developer in root cause analysis when needed.*qualifications*:qualifications:- bachelor's degree or masters in computer science, electronics engineering or related engineering.- deep understanding of software testing concepts.- excellent communication skills.- experience leading or coordinating activities.- knowledge in python, data analysis, object oriented programming, and sw coding standards.- critical thinking, problem solving skills, self motivated and quick learner.- knowledge of software development versioning tools (git, ims, etc.)- proficient at writing, reading and talking in english.- willingness to work in a distributed global team environment.nice to have:- software test certifications (such as istqb foundations or istqb advanced).- agile knowledge, scrum master.- knowledge of vmodel or other sw development processes.- experience with requirements traceability tools.- experience with debugging (in visual studio, pycharm, etc.).continental develops pioneering technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods
