responsibilities:
- collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and deliver targeted solutions using odoo.
- demonstrate odoo, highlighting its capabilities and how it can solve client challenges and needs.
- advise clients on best practices in implementing odoo and best functionalities based on their needs.
- prepare and present customized technical proposals for clients, based on odoo functionalities.
- work closely with the implementation team and consultants to ensure that proposed solutions align with client requirements.
- create and maintain technical documentation, supporting materials, and use cases on odoo solutions.
- identify additional or new sales opportunities, helping to expand the scope of projects.
- provide technical support during pre-sales phases and up to contract signing.
- perform functional analysis and provide recommendations for customizations or system enhancements.
- stay up-to-date on new odoo functionalities and updates, and provide guidance on the latest trends and capabilities of the platform.
- collaborate with other teams, such as marketing and development, to improve the odoo value proposition in presentations to clients.
requirements:
pre-sales engineer qualifications/skills:
- previous experience using odoo, with a deep understanding of its modules, functionality, and configuration.
- experience working in the full sales cycle, from needs detection to proposal presentation.
- technical skills: knowledge of odoo configuration and customization, as well as its integrations with other systems.
- strong communication skills and ability to interact with different stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, and technicians.
- ability to conduct technical demos of odoo, tailored to the client's needs.
- knowledge of business processes and how they can be optimized with tools like odoo (e.g. sales, purchasing, inventory, crm, accounting).
- customer focus, with the ability to identify opportunities and provide effective solutions.
- analytical ability to identify problems and provide effective solutions in systems.
- strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- interpersonal skills to work in a team and collaborate in a dynamic environment.
- fluency in spanish and english (both written and spoken).
desirable:
- official odoo certification (e.g. Odoo certified functional consultant).
- experience in the erp consulting sector.
- knowledge of odoo development or customization at a technical level (python, xml, qweb).
- knowledge of other erps and business tools.
