Trade coordinator is responsible for driving trademarketing initiatives and executing golden launches with precision. This role involves managing relationships with 3rd-party agencies, ensuring strategic alignment and kpi delivery, and collaborating effectively across departments. The coordinator will lead project planning, streamline instore plans, and provide internal visibility into launch processes. Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
key responsibilities:
agency relationship & roll-out plans:
* act as the main contact for agency communication and relationship.
* hold regular team meetings with the agency.
* ensure strategic alignment and kpi delivery with the agency.
* oversee trade activities and resource allocation.
* rebalance agency staffing for optimal coverage.
* support sales field staff with necessary resources.
* realign 2025 contract expectations with n+1 and collaborate in yearly negotiations.
project management & planning:
* centralize instore plans from trade coordinators.
* optimize store coverage with national store mapping.
* co-develop with btl manager a centralized distribution hub with the agency.
* execute trade marketing strategies and campaigns.
* lead and design golden launch plans.
* develop frameworks for marketing priorities and cross-department collaboration.
* provide internal visibility into launch processes and timelines.
data analysis & monitoring:
* define and monitor quota and kpi tracking.
* enhance reporting with the agency.
* generate actionable insights through thorough data analysis.
* adjust plans based on shopper and customer needs.
performance & budgeting management:
* launch a quota system for mid/high-end products with the agency.
* improve the reward program for top performers with the agency.
* develop career growth plans for field staff with the agency.
* manage budget and purchase order processes.
* lead monthly financial allocation and expense reconciliation with n+1.
reporting:
* monitor and measure the effectiveness of trade marketing activities.
* digitize operations with the agency (tracking, training, reporting).
* prepare performance reports emphasizing roi and execution quality.
* create the monthly trade marketing newsletter for internal purposes.
upskilling & capability building:
* facilitate communication among trade and commercial teams.
* develop corporate trade capabilities to upskill the trade & commercial team.
requirements:
* bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, engineering, or related field.
* minimum 3 years in trademarketing or project management.
* demonstrated leadership and cross-functional influencing capabilities.
* strong analytical and decision-making skills.
* highly organized and structured.
* experience managing agencies and cross-functional projects.
* exceptional communication skills.
* fluent in english and spanish.
* self-motivated and high-energy professional.
