Role summary

ensure the supply of materials and/or services according to the requirements of the organization, procedures and policies of the m+h corporate in order to guarantee their price, quality and delivery time.
main tasks
1. ensure and guarantee the best price, quality and service in the purchase of non-productive materials.
2. follow up on the purchase order.
3. maintain the culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
4. ensure compliance with the requirements of the quality and environmental management system.
5. local supplier development strategy in coordination with mexico and usa locations requirements.
6. corporate supplier panel creation strategy.
7. contract management and archiving of contracts per internal system (easy archive / sap).
8. support production site on urgent orders due to breakdowns or maintenance.
your profile
education:
1. bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or international business.
experience:
1. previous experience in a purchasing environment of at least 3 years with a good working knowledge of purchasing techniques in automotive companies.
technical skills:
1. advanced english proficiency.
2. advanced knowledge in ms-office skills, experience with sap and other erp.
3. good negotiation skills.
4. good interpersonal skills, networking ability, communication skills (internal/external).
5. experienced problem solver.
6. organization and coordination skills, self-initiative, and ability to work under pressure.
additional requirements:
1. availability to travel.
2. valid us visa and passport.
