job description
we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team in a role that combines technical expertise, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, product design, and development, with a focus on power train components and systems. This role requires a deep understanding of lighting development, simulation tools, and vehicle system architecture, as well as experience in design validation, tooling feasibility, and quality methodologies. The candidate will work closely with engineering, planning, and supplier teams to achieve project goals and deliver innovative solutions.
qualifications
* bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, or an mba from an abet-accredited university (or equivalent).
* 1-3 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry
* proficiency in lighting development, lighting measurement, and lighting simulation using tools such as speos or equivalent.
* knowledge of design failure mode & effects analysis (dfmea), design verification plan & report (dvp&r), fea, mold flow virtual validation, gd&t, and i-speed.
* familiarity with radio head unit software and hardware architectures, as well as vehicle system architecture.
* strong technical knowledge of plastic design, system interfaces, mechanisms, and moving components.
* experience in developing performance standards, creating master sections, and proposing surface feasibility for pdo.
* hands-on experience with automotive power train product design, including components/systems design, development, and releasing.
* design for six sigma (dfss) experience (green belt or black belt preferred); shainin green belt certification is a plus.
* proficiency in ms office suite (word, powerpoint, excel, and outlook).
* experience with nx and teamcenter.
* familiarity with can (canoe) bus tools.
* advanced english language skills, essential for the interview
