as honeywell's point of contact within the supply base, you will travel within your assigned geographical area, in support of a variety of supplier oversight functions, spending most of your time at supplier facilities.
*key responsibilities*- coordinate parts approval process (ppap/fair) within assigned suppliers.- create, manage, and close supplier corrective actions requests.- properly interpret and enforce all applicable purchase order requirements- evaluate supplier systems and conduct gap analysis where required- prepare and present metrics associated with quality trends and related improvements within the supply base- provide technical leadership to coordinate implementation of six sigma and lean at supplier's operation- manufacturing through advanced quality processes including statistically based variation reduction, control planning, mistake proofing, and process control- process large quantities of information and determine critical needs, to develop solutions that alleviate barriers and meet the needs of internal and external customers- develop strong partnership with suppliers regarding their commitment to honeywell projects, timing, and measurement of results- develop the assigned suppliers, using improvement tools (process control, error proofing, etc) to meet the honeywell specifications or requirements*you must have*- bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, industrial, electro-mechanical)- advanced english- knowledge of quality systems- 3 years of experience in similar role or +5 years of experience in process/manufacturing engineering in metal-mechanics industry*we value*- self-motivated and able to get results with mínimal supervision and oversightiso 9001:2015 knowledge (lead or internal auditor)- experience using core tools (ppap, pfmea, control plan, etc.
