Storyboard / story / concept artist translates an idea and turn it into visuals that convey all facets of the overall direction of the story, including emotion, humor, and action.
you are an expert of character anatomy, both physical and emotional, and can translate the abstract into something solid.
you will work closely with the story team to develop expressive, entertaining storyboards / story / concept.
you usually are given script pages or a rough draught of the story as a guide but also must be able to take an unfinished idea and flesh it out into a full scene.i.
responsibilities:- draw, create and conceptualize storyboards based on the story / vision from our team.- collaborate closely on existing projects with other team members.- possess both technical and artistic expertise to push the creative envelope to new heights while adhering to project guidelines- communicate clearly and in a timely manner with all members of the team- properly and accurately gauge timelines required for completion of work- ensure quality and style is consistently achieved in storyboard work- create narrative art that brings story to life through illustrated characters and storytellingii.
requirements:- a portfolio showcasing numerous examples of current or/and recent best works- demonstrated storyboard and/or art experience- strong drawing and mechanical skills- a creative mind which can conjure new perspectives- willingness to consider and learn different/new artistic styles outside the "comfort zone"- a creative mind which can conjure new perspectives- an ability to understand complex or ambiguous concepts- experience in related design and graphic software & media- ability to come up with inventive ideas to plus story material.- working on copyright protected materials/assignments, with work-for-hire clause apply.
full ownership of copyrights reverts to company on all works done.
legal agreement & contract must be signed for each project.
