In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted partner throughout the full employee life cycle—supporting our teams across mexico and the u.s. From attracting and onboarding new talent to managing benefits, ensuring compliance, and supporting day-to-day hr operations, you'll play a key role in fostering a positive employee experience and maintaining smooth, people-centered processes. key responsibilities
talent acquisition
1. manage the full-cycle recruitment process for positions in mexico and the us, posting job openings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation throughout the hiring process.
2. assist with recruitment activities and hiring processes worldwide when necessary.
3. manage candidate communications and ensure a positive candidate experience during the recruitment process.
4. maintain and regularly update the teamtailor applicant tracking system (ats) to ensure data accuracy and efficient tracking of recruitment activities.
hr administration
1. maintain accurate, updated employee records and hr information systems.
2. support general hr reporting and fulfill data requests accurately and efficiently.
3. support employee onboarding, offboarding, and employee life-cycle documentation in accordance with local labor laws.
4. serve as the primary point of contact for employees based in mexico, promptly and effectively addressing their questions regarding hr policies, procedures, benefits, and administrative needs.
5. ensure all pre-payroll data is accurate and submitted on time and work closely with local payroll providers or professional employer organizations (peos) to support smooth payroll processing.
6. manage and process employee benefits enrollment, updates, and address related employee inquiries.
7. assist with audits, labor compliance, and government reporting and filings.
8. collaborate closely with global hr and operations teams to align with company-wide hr practices and procedures.
9. ensure timely submission of sua (sistema único de autodeterminación) and isn (impuesto sobre nómina) payments in compliance with mexican labor and tax regulations.
qualifications:
1. 2–3 years of full-cycle recruitment experience in mexico and the u.s., including sourcing, interview coordination, and candidate management.
2. 2–3 years of hr operations experience in regional or global environments, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle documentation.
3. proficient in using ats platforms (preferably teamtailor) and hris systems; skilled in generating recruitment and hr reports with kpis.
4. familiarity with sourcing strategies across platforms such as linkedin, job boards, and referrals.
5. demonstrated ability to deliver a positive candidate experience through strong communication and coordination.
6. experience with benefits administration, payroll input coordination, and collaboration with payroll vendors or peos.
7. knowledge of mexico labor law compliance, hr audits, and government filings.
8. strong interpersonal skills and ability to support and advise employees, especially those based in mexico.
9. proven collaboration with global hr and operations teams.
10. bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
11. bilingual in spanish and english.
12. experience in tech, consulting, or high-growth global companies is a plus.
13. comfortable working in remote, collaborative environments using tools like slack, o365, and zoom.
