responsibilities:
* manage escalated and high-risk employee relations cases, leading complex investigations and providing recommendations for fair and timely resolutions.
* serve as the primary contact for site leadership teams within the assigned geographic area, building trusted relationships and providing timely data, analysis, and actionable recommendations to improve employee relations outcomes.
* provide expert guidance on the interpretation and application of hr policies, ensuring compliance and providing insights to inform policy updates and education initiatives.
* coach managers on conflict resolution, policy compliance, and performance improvement plans (pips) to drive accountability and engagement.
* support complex employee separations, ensuring legal compliance and maintaining consistency in handling sensitive cases.
* maintain accurate and detailed documentation of employee relations cases in the case management system to ensure adherence to slas.
* deliver exceptional service in all interactions, promoting a fair, professional, and engaging employee experience.
* contribute to strategic projects and initiatives focused on advancing the goals of the coe and the broader hr organization.
* act as mentors to employee relations advisors, providing coaching, career guidance, and support for professional development to enhance team capabilities.
* collaborate on the design and execution of quarterly er communication/education campaigns, using site-level insights and emerging trends to ensure relevant and impactful content.
requirements:
* education: bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
* experience: 5+ years of experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and investigations.
* skills: expertise in managing complex employee relations cases, coaching managers, and ensuring compliance with policies and labor laws. Demonstrated understanding of employee relations practices, performance improvement processes, and policy interpretation.
* other: strong knowledge of employment law, excellent communication and analytical skills, and the ability to provide data-driven insights to senior leadership.
