as a production supervisor (shop operations) you will lead a production manufacturing cell team (union) executing several projects for our customers.
factory shop floor core activities are focused on cnc machining, welding (cladding), assembly and high-pressure tests.
as a production supervisor (shop operations), you will oversight daily activities inside assigned manufacturing cell being responsible for:
- weekly schedule execution
- daily jobs follow up
- on-time delivery
- efficiency & time on product performance
- scrap and rework execution on your manufacturing cell
- labor variance performance for active projects at the site.
- lean improvements
- hse performance
- 5s deployment
- payroll management

education / experience requirements:
- engineering degree from an accredited university.
- minimum 3 years of experience in production, shop floor operations or supply chain activities.
- project management experience
- previous experience managing union personnel.
- ability to influence others and lead different teams.
- knowledge of lean six sigma methodologies
- availability to work in different shifts.

- being able to use business insights to orient strategies (data-driven management)
- demonstrate the ability to work in cross-functional teams
