the maintenance engineer assure the maintenance systems compliance in packing maintenance area through the lego maintenance model to achieve the lego group standards (sqdc).
this role has a deep compromise to support the operations area with a sense of urge, safety, and quality to bring the most possible children into play, always with a great attitude as a customer service area we also need to be responsible and focused to deliver on time new installations, so we can keep growing and take part in the lego story.
core responsibilities
- ensure that lego production team meets the reliability requirements of the company and product quality.
project management skills to plan and implement assigned projects; manage budget as required.
communicate with all partners, supervisors, engineers, to meet customer needs.
- assure asset counting processes annually implementation according with global standards and local legislation.
leading all roll outs regarding a global maintenance project.
reach into new global machine maintenance standards new ways to develop and improve our processes.
- coordinate the area staff in the absence of the maintenance manager to complete maintenance activities.
coordinate maintenance activities with other departments.
- ensure the development of preventive and corrective maintenance activities, creation, and execution of continues improvement journey.
assure the compliance of predictive and preventive maintenance activities performed by external oems (original equipment manufacturers) and suppliers.
- sap super user.
- participate in projects to improve processes and equipment.
must be able to take the initiative and responsibility in solving critical and chronic problems in machinery.
troubleshooting through the root cause approach.
do you have what it takes?
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance or manufacturing areas.
bachelor's in electrical, mechanical or mechatronics engineering.
have experience with multinational companies or working with international teams.
- machine safety knowledge as well as hands on knowledge on mechanics, pneumatic, electricity and electronics.
- analytical skills, good communication and partner management.
- industrial drawings knowledge and understanding
- excel and sap advanced.
autocad and/or solidworks knowledge.
- finance knowledge, has worked with costing and budgeting for projects
- weekend and off shift working hours may be required during implementation phases.
some global travel might also be required.
- problem solving knowledge, has worked with lean and six sigma methodology and other quality tools.
green belt as a plus.
- language: advanced english.
good communication skills both verbally and in writing and comfortable in presenting complex ideas
