*what you will do*
support and advocate the customer’s requests while working directly with multiple departments to support complex order processes to ensure customer satisfaction. Handles inquiries, and/or complaints covering all aspects of the order process. Interacts with inside sales and order entry teams as well as our other manufacturing plants.
*how you will do it*:
- expedite late shipments
- facilitate color match orders
- facilitate lost or damaged freight claims
- process rma and rework orders
- review daily order reports to ensure on time delivery
- follows up on activities to ensure completion in an established timeframe
- facilitate product discrepancy and damaged freight order process
- communicate customer requests to sales, engineering, production, and quality departments
- communicate effectively and professionally with multiple departments and management levels as required to communicate customer requests, problems, and other needs, as they arise
- sox compliance
- perform control activities thoroughly and effectively as required.
- develop key documents, including work instructions
- analyze and draw conclusions based on less-than complete data
- actively identify and document new solution approaches and support other team members by exchanging this knowledge and other best practices
- work with it to improve system reliability and efficiency
- provide coaching, mentoring, and technical assistance to ensure that delegated tasks are done accurately and on-time
- manage priority levels of several daily tasks and customer requests
- other duties and administrative activities as assigned
*what we look for*:
- required- high school diploma required; associate of arts degree (a.a.s) preferred; and five to seven years of related experience and/or training.
- ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- to perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of ms excel spreadsheet software and ms word, ms powerpoint word processing software. Experience using as400 operating systems is a plus.
*preferred skills*:
- university degree and 1 year suggested minimum experience, or 2 year degree and 6 years suggested minimum experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
