te connectivity's supply chain managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

• minimum 10 years of experience in managing planning, purchasing, and warehouse functions in a production environment.
• fluent in english (spoken and written).
• advanced and deep knowledge in using sap and microsoft office (excel).
• in-depth experience with mrp.
• knowledge of regional and global supplier base for sealing of commodities.
• compliance with the global sourcing process and policies for all activities under responsibility.
• align required capabilities with suppliers, including end-of-life strategy.
• quarterly business reviews with strategic suppliers, including performance objective reviews.
• cooperation with supplier quality and supply chain management.
responsibilities
• provide leadership to the purchasing and planning team. The position is responsible for all aspects of raw material usage. This includes procurement, purchasing, storage, and associated transactions in the most commercially effective manner. Key kpis are inventory turns, timely shipping to customer orders, and shipping per schedule and material productivity.
• plan and implement activities related to timely and cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning, and quality control of production materials, including oversight of annual inventory taking and annual re-costing process. Responsible for meeting annual material productivity objectives (cost reduction). Establish key performance metrics and benchmarks related to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against objectives regularly.
• ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, to meet production schedules and maintain inventory at acceptable minimum levels. Responsible for sourcing and supplying raw materials. Coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information between suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers. Identify and recommend opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and capabilities of the supply chain.
• responsible for compliance with the production, sales, and recovery plan weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• anticipate month-to-month customer demands for the next 6 months, ensuring associated headcount resources, number of required shifts, expected sales level, and inventory level needed to timely support expected future demand.
• responsible for compliance with material environmental and social legislations such as rohs, reach, and conflict minerals.
• responsible and leader of the growth of the staff under their charge, establishing smart objectives for the work team and providing feedback to the group on performance weekly, monthly, and quarterly, and leading actions for opportunities that arise in this regard.
• manage and lead the planning and purchasing team.
• work closely with the sourcing team.
• work in coordination with the warehouse team.
