responsibilities
the opportunity
it supervisor -operaciones responsible for supporting proof of concept and pilot activities with sector it, vendors and business for make and logistics initiatives.
candidate will work closely to develop the business capability roadmap and aop requiring business partner alignment and approval.
in the make space candidate will work closely sector it lead in the assessment of new solutions and enablement of proof of concepts.
your impact
as it supervisor -operaciones your responsibilities would consist of:
* supporting execution of proof of concept and pilots for labor management and low cost warehouse management systems in the global sectors, as well as functional proof of concepts associated with gsft (global shop floor tools).
* supporting the integration of the lms and wms systems to different components of the ecosystems to enable supply chain organization to leverage full solution capabilities in support of business case whilst in alignment to business capability roadmap and strategy.
* managing the lms and low cost wms solution lifecycle including the requirement gathering, fulfilment, and continuous improvement.
* engaging the appropriate it, consumer relations or vendor teams to help drive resolution.
* serving as the central it point of contact and trusted technology partner to understand business challenges, technology needs, and risks facing the business and propose solutions to meet needs and mitigate risk.
* partnering with it leads and business to evaluate, estimate, plan and implement initiatives based on scope established with the sector and global teams.
* partnering closely with enterprise architecture, security and devsecops to ensure compliance and established processes are followed for new solution implementations.
* supporting the it lead director in driving the strategy implementation with project teams, business partners and other stakeholders for a specific initiative.
* driving awareness of business support required to successfully deploy enhancement releases and upgrades.
* managing ideas from proposal feasibility to project creation.
qualifications
who are we looking for?
experience:
* bachelor's degree required.
* 4+ years of experience configuring, deploying and managing manufacturing execution systems, logistics transportation systems, warehouse management systems.
technical skills:
* 3+ years of ge proficy plant applications.
* 4+ years project management.
* 2+ years agile methodology as product owner/product manager.
non – technical skills:
* deep and broad make to deploy experience with mes and logistics-warehouse solutions in a global capacity.
* knowledge of network topologies, technologies and equipment.
* experience with different integration technologies, cloud solutions and analytic visualization tools (power bi, tableau).
* experience gathering, analyzing, distilling and summarizing business requirements and project estimation.
* ability to communicate technical and complex subject matter to leaders in business terms.
* proven track record of building consensus among stakeholders.
