*about this opportunity*:
we are now looking for a demand management resource to overlook forecast activities and build consolidated market demand information in short and long term (this role specifically focuses on site material).
this is done to provide forecasted product information into ericsson's operative and strategic supply plans.
in order to secure the quality of the forecast the demand manager needs to lead and facilitate the sales & operation process in a way that describes the consequences of predicted product deliveries from a resource, financial and a risk perspective.
*what you will do*:
in addition to generating a monthly forecast, you will:
- load forecast into sap
- track demand by customer account
- deliver standard & new measure/analysis drive continuous service and process improvement (csi)
- evaluate excess materials due to unconsumed forecast
- provide feedback to product lifecycle managers
- initiate with speed the movement of materials between demand categories (a, b and c)
- chair and facilitate a monthly site material sales and operations planning (s&op) meeting with the customer account teams
driving fact-based decisions that will optimize a forecast that drives cost-efficient stock levels that exceeds our customer's delivery expectations of ericsson
*you will bring*:
- experience in material/demand planning and delivery fulfillment fields
- a track record of results, problem-solving, accountability and customer orientation
- outstanding verbal and written communication skills in english, and strong intuition for business.
being bilingual in spanish is a plus.
- a bachelor's in ba or related field of study
