*what will you do?*
this position is to be fulfilled by a leader and self-motivated engineer to work in a dynamic industrial environment.
this role connects our clients with manufacturing operations. You will manage new projects-products from client award, through all phases of the project focused on meeting the client's product specifications and delivery.
*how will you do it?*
- direct and coordinate engineering changes documentation for existing, new product introductions and transfers.
- coordinate the development of all documentation related to new product introduction, transfers and existing products that includes but not limited to item master, boms, routings, flowcharts, pfmea, control plan, erp system, etc.
- follow up and update the ecn database and kpis.
- ensure the staffing of the cross-functional team, build, and monitor the master schedule, to achieve the goals of the schedule.
- collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and production, to ensure seamless integration of new products, technologies, and manufacturing methods.
- drive process related activities for new product introduction, from early planning stages on into full production.
- coordination of prototype construction.
- develop, test and implement new components and processes focused on continuous improvement.
- lead cost reduction activities.
- create technical documentation (drawings, bill of materials, specifications, standard operation sheets, oms, ods etc.)
- take of times and movements and standardize operations.
- calculation and responsible to control optimal capacities of production lines and fabrication processes.
- verify time standards and calculation of earn hours per family products.
- use problem solving tools when needed (pdca, a3, ewo, 8d etc.)
- supports sharing of best practices as result of internal and external benchmarking activities
- evaluation and modification of lay outs of production lines and production cells.
- develop and implement manufacturing strategies, processes, and procedures to optimize efficiency, productivity, and quality standards as they relate to new products.
- establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the availability of necessary resources and technical support.
- develop and manage the manufacturing engineering budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control.
- work with strategic initiatives: support business cases, design for manufacturing & process improvements, follow up program plan and relationship with manufacturing plant.
- develop and implementation for papso plant and moc.
- collect required capex investment and estimated timing for business case inputs in npi.
- develop a way to coordinate capex spend tracking (plant capex expense control).
- creation of plant capex business case, approval process and implementation.
- develop new automation process plan to move current process to industry 4.0.
*what we look for?*
- industrial, mechatronic, electronic engineering degree.
- 4-10 year of experience, leading projects on a manufacturing environment.
- business level fluency in english. Able to carry on a conversation and lead meetings without difficulty.
- proven record of accomplishment of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management continuous improvements and cost reduction programs
- strong knowledge on elements of continuous improvement, line balancing, capacity calculations, planning and layout.
