as an operation buyer you will provide support to operation related to external suppliers and will support category team with the implementation of strategy initiatives.

*job qualifications*:
bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or relevant field.
5 years' experience in relative position, preference automotive industry
knowledge of procurement systems as applicable
fluency in english is mandatory, additional languages are preferable (e.g. local language

strong communication and negotiation skills.
solid analytical and planning skills as well pronounced solution orientation.
excellent computer skills (excel, microsoft word, powerpoint).
experience working in global supply environment.
customer-oriented thinking and acting as well as high adherence to timelines.
*essential job functions*:
responsible for the implementation of regional indirect contracts (negotiated by regional indirect procurement managers) within the branch(s), and responsible for all indirect purchases not covered by regional contracts.
generate purchase orders while acting as liaison between company and suppliers for corporate and distribution center orders.
manage commercials aspects (negotiation & implementation) of engineering changes impacting serial production parts (post phase 5 sign off) from external suppliers.
negotiate pricing for services and raw materials with suppliers that do not fall under a commodity manager.
purchases assigned items at the best price from reliable sources, following established standards for quality, quantity, and other factory requirements of the business.
support the category management team in the implementation of strategy, projects and day-to day activities.
address invoices discrepancies for corporate office
responsible for supplier performance management (quality, cost, delivery), with the commodity manager.
assist with back orders and resolution of match and hold reports to resolve pricing and quantity discrepancies.
first level of branch escalation to the procurement organization for support with external supplier related issues
follows-up and expedites orders to obtain proper, on-time delivery.
