- lead and ensure process accurate and timely payroll for all us and canada employees across multiple company codes and legal entities, utilizing an automated time and attendance system.
- ensure the accuracy, validity, and completeness of financial reporting related to payroll.
- ensure that payroll team for north america performed properly his operations.
- be the point of contacts with different department across the company for reporting topics and guidelines for the north america's region.
- ensure analyze and reconcile employee master data records, audit reports and deduction accounts.
- lead and provide necessary support to the payroll director, as relates to payroll and tax related vendors, human resources, accounts payable, and corporate accounting for the nam region.
- ensure implement and comply with wage and hour laws and company policies related to payroll.
- perform ad hoc payroll-related queries directly or through the payroll team.
- communicate payroll-related matters to all levels of staff and management effectively and professionally.
- ensure the accuracy, validity, and timeliness of all payroll-related tax filings and tax issuances.
- ensure payroll needs are anticipated and addressed in a proactive fashion as the company continues to grow and expand.
- lead and ensure compliance checks and report violations appropriately to the payroll director.
- processing of executive and shadow payrolls as required.
- lead and ensure necessary and provide documentation to the payroll director and/or payroll systems analyst for compliance audits and response to audit queries in a professional manner.
- establish, determine, and improve on key success metrics to optimize the performance of the team.
- ensure team immediately address incoming employee inquiries focusing on a high level of customer service.

*experience*:
- 5+ years' experience in a large corporate payroll with multiple pay company entities
- 1+ years of managerial experience in nam payroll or relevant managerial experience
- experience with vacation liabilities, withholding tax familiarity (in a multi-state environment), garnishments processes and procedures, and voluntary/employee deductions, executive payroll processing.
- strong proficiency with using automated time and attendance systems (such as adp, e-time or kronos)
- ability to manage teams and ensure proper workload and labor environment.
- experience on internal controls and process improvement.
*education*:
- bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or similar field.
preferred qualifications:
- adp expertise (adp payforce and/or canadian adp pay at work); including expertise with importing/exporting data from adp.
- prior experience with a public company
- payroll certification preferred.
